ABOUT STRIKE GO

Specialist transport for education, SEND, SEMH and community support.

Strike Go is the specialist education and community transport service from Strike Group, created to support children, young people and families who need more than just a journey from A to B.

We provide safe, reliable and relationship-led transport for schools, local authorities, SEND services, alternative provision settings and community organisations. Our focus is on supporting young people with SEND, SEMH needs, anxiety, school avoidance, additional vulnerabilities and those who may find transitions or daily travel challenging.

Strike Go was developed from our wider experience across Strike Group, where we have worked directly with young people in schools, alternative provision, mentoring programmes, sport, youth work and community settings. Through this work, we have seen first-hand that transport can often be the difference between a young person accessing education or missing out.

For many children and families, getting to school is not always simple. A young person may refuse to leave the house. They may feel anxious, overwhelmed or dysregulated. They may need reassurance, consistency, patience or a familiar face who understands them. That is where Strike Go is different.

We are not just a transport provider. We are an education and youth-focused organisation that understands the young people we support.

Our team is built around trust, safeguarding, communication and care. We take time to build positive relationships with young people, parents, carers, schools and professionals, helping to create smoother mornings, better attendance and more consistent access to education.

At Strike Go, our mission is to provide safe, reliable and specialist transport that helps young people access education, support and opportunity. We believe transport should be more than simply getting a young person from one place to another, it should be part of the wider support around them.

Our vision is to change what education and community transport feels like for young people, families, schools and local authorities. We want to create a service built on trust, consistency, safeguarding and genuine understanding of SEND, SEMH and alternative provision needs.

With our background in education, mentoring, youth work and community delivery, we understand that every journey starts before a young person gets into the vehicle. Some children may feel anxious, dysregulated or reluctant to attend school, and families may need support, patience and clear communication during difficult mornings.

Strike Go exists to build relationships, reduce barriers and help more young people arrive safely, calmly and ready to engage. By working closely with parents, carers, schools and professionals, we aim to make transport feel supportive, personal and centred around the young person.
